Yes — we’ll serve food at both events. After the ceremony we’ll have a late lunch before guests head to the reception venue. At the reception there will be a plentiful selection of hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening; full dinner details will be shared closer to the date.

Black-tie-optional. Appropriate attire options for a black-tie-optional dress code include full-length gowns, long formal dresses, dressy jumpsuits, pantsuits and suits. If you are looking for a color scheme to fit the vibes, primarily greens with black and gold. I will include a vision board of different attire ideas. :)

Yes — there will be plenty of drinks. The ceremony venue is known for its specialty cocktails, and at the reception we’ll offer a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks from a cash bar. Please drink responsibly; guests may be asked for ID.

We will include on your invitation an invite for your plus one (and your Kiddos). Due to the rather intimate size of both venues we are only accepting plus ones that we have met and vibe checked. To know the definitive status, your invitation shall be addressed to you both/all.

For our wonderful guests traveling far and wide, we do not have a room block HOWEVER our reception venue comes with bunk style rooms. If you wish to use a bunk room (8 Beds per room) please contact us ASAP to reserve your bunk. :) If you would like a bunk room you will need to bring your own bedding/pillow as linens are not provided. If bunks and rooming with friends and family are not your style, we live in Reno, a hospitality city with plenty of hotels and resorts. We can make many recommendations for other lodging options. :)

Parking at our ceremony: Parking is very slim street parking in this area, we recommend arriving early so that you can scoop up available parking. DO NOT park in the parking lot across from the venue, you will be towed, no we will not be paying for your tow. :) Reception: There is a moderate amount of parking at the venue and we recommend car-pooling if able. There is a closer lot to the venue but space is very limited and we would like to save those spaces for our guests with mobility issues.

Cash. As a thank you for taking time out of your week to celebrate with us your first drink at ceremony and reception will be on us, afterwards it will be a cash bar. There will also be a few cash specific games. A very special Auction at our ceremony, a 50/50 raffle at the reception will be going towards our honeymoon, and maybe a high stakes game of left-right-center (Left-right-center is a large family tradition on the Rudy side of the Rudy-Wood pair.)

We request no photography during the ceremony. Please be present with us for this special moment and not through the lens of a screen. After the ceremony it's free game! And we strongly encourage to send all the best (and the worst) to us in the days to follow. P.S. If you are spotted with a phone out at the ceremony the photographer has been instructed to edit it out and replace with a full 12in sub sandwich and wont that look silly in all the expensive wedding photos.

The act of just leaving. If the Bride and Groom are actively engaged in an event and you are ready to leave, just go. Please do not pull us away from something to say your goodbyes, we challenge you all to send us a selfie with us in the background as you are heading out. We promise we will take no offence.
